Bret Newton has joined High Point Networks as an Account Manager.  Bret brings High Point Networks a unique background of bridging the gap between systems engineering and sales.  He started out in a help desk support environment and moved quickly into an account manager role working with telephone companies throughout MN, ND and SD.  Most recently, he held a split role as Systems Engineer/Account Manager for a telecom consulting firm where he helped design, sell and install large scale telecom voice, video and data networks.  Bret currently holds multiple vendor certifications in networking and network design including a CCNA, ECDP, ECSP and an ENS.  He is an expert in converged network technologies and looks forward to serving the community of Sioux Falls and the surrounding areas to continue increasing the efficiency of the workplace by utilizing modern communication tools throughout their networks.  

On the personal side, Bret is married to his wife Joanne and has 3 children, Hunter, Marcus and Isabelle.  He enjoys spending time with his family and participating in various church ministries.  His passions include finding a way to help people, learning and using technology, and playing music loud but not well.
